The “class-specific method" (CSM), is an emerging technique, crossing the boundaries between the
fields of machine learning, statistical signal processing, hypothesis testing, and information theory.
Currently, the documentation of CSM is scattered across many
varied publications.
The purpose of this “book" is to provide a unified treatment of CSM including software
to make the approach accessible to practitioners.
