The flag use_viterbi, if set to 1, uses the Viterbi algorithm in training,
so that only the most likely path through the proxy HMM trellis is considered.
This runs faster, but is less than optimal.
If iplot is set to 1 during Viterbi training, the most likely
segmentation is displayed.
